Kiev Temple

On Sunday we visited the Kiev Temple.  It is about as old as Anatolia, which is sweet to me.  I doubt she understood how important temples are, but we have been singing, "I love to see the temple, I'm going there someday," with her since our time at the orphanage.  Today we sang, "I'm going there TODAY!" and both Ben and I grew teary.  

This is Ben's favorite because of how symbolic it feels to have me inviting our sweet little one to come and see the temple with me.  This whole adoption has been about finding the daughter that our Father in Heaven meant to be in our family.   Through his grace we have found her.   Someday soon, when she understands the significance of it, we will return to a temple near our home with all of our family and be sealed together as a family unit forever.

We could feel the presence of the Lord here.  I am so grateful for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ that returned the priesthood power to the Earth to bind families eternally!
