I find I am reading the scriptures more frequently. Whenever I open them, the Spirit of the Lord infuses my soul with joy and peace, a continual outpouring of love and confidence in the plan He has set forth. I cannot see very clearly -- only to the first bend, but when I read His word, I am thoroughly excited for the journey!
And so I get up and do what I can, and then when I am ensnared with worry and care again, I return to commune with Him. I am so grateful for the power of the Spirit!
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalms 119:105)
