Scheduled seven doctor appointments and six fingerprinting appointments.
Five of us went in and signed forms with a notary. Two of us had already signed additional forms with a notary the week before.
Scanned and uploaded dozens of documents.
Sent out requests for 6 reference letters.
Spent 10 hours in training.
Read two books on adoption. Started three more.
Contacted various people for additional forms/clearances.
Began writing what feels like our life's story for the home study provider, including information about each of the 10 schools Ben and I have attended in our entire academic career.
Wrote "windows to the soul" type accounts of each of my five children. (This was actually rather intensive work!)
Lots and lots of reading, typing, scanning, talking on the phone, planning, wondering, and praying.
It's "all-a-good!" (like my Grandpa used to say...)
I am happy to have concrete things to do.
